API Development & Integrations
Robust APIs and integrations that move data cleanly between your systems.
APIs are how modern businesses move data between systems, expose product capabilities to partners, and let internal teams build on top of one another. We design, build, document, and version APIs — and we wire them into the third-party services your business depends on.
Every API we ship is contract-first. We write the spec, review it with you, then build to the spec. That means stable contracts, predictable changes, generated client SDKs, and documentation that does not lie. Integrations come with retry, dedup, rate-limit handling, and observability so the data does not silently drift.
Typical engagements range from a focused integration (1–4 weeks) to a full public API surface for a SaaS product (6–12 weeks). All work is delivered under a Statement of Work.

Frequently asked
Should we use REST or GraphQL?
REST is the right default for partner-facing and public APIs because every tool in the ecosystem understands it. GraphQL is excellent when a single rich client (web or mobile) is the main consumer and you want to avoid round-trips. We pick during Discovery based on who the consumers are.
How do you handle API versioning?
We default to URL versioning for public APIs (/v1/, /v2/) and additive schema changes within a version. Breaking changes get a new version, a documented deprecation window, and a changelog so your customers can plan.
How do you secure the API?
OAuth 2 or signed API keys for partner APIs, JWT for first-party clients, rate limits per principal, request signing for webhooks, and audit logs. We review against OWASP API Security Top 10 before launch.
Can you document and publish the API for our customers?
Yes. We generate docs from the OpenAPI or GraphQL schema and host them on a docs site, plus optional auto-generated client SDKs in TypeScript, Python, or Go.
