Custom Web Applications

Internal tools, customer portals, and dashboards built to your workflow.

A custom web application is software designed specifically for the way your business actually operates — not a generic SaaS tool you bend your process around. We build internal admin tools, customer-facing portals, operational dashboards, line-of-business systems, and bespoke workflow software for U.S. companies that have outgrown spreadsheets, off-the-shelf platforms, or ad-hoc integrations.

Every engagement starts with a signed Statement of Work that names the deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria. We design the UI, model the data, build the application, and hand over source code, deployment, and documentation. You own everything we build.

Our default stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL — proven, well-staffed, and supportable for the next decade. We pick the rest of the stack based on your operational reality, not on what is trending.

Frequently asked

How is a custom web application different from a no-code or SaaS tool?

No-code tools and off-the-shelf SaaS are great until your workflow no longer fits their data model or pricing tier. A custom web application is shaped around your process exactly, integrates with whatever systems you already own, and you keep the source code. The trade-off is up-front cost and time, which we contain with a signed SOW.

Do we own the source code you build?

Yes. Every line of code, schema, design file, and deployment configuration we produce is assigned to you in the contract. We do not retain the right to resell anything we build for a client.

How long does a typical custom web application take to build?

A first usable release usually takes 6 to 14 weeks for a focused scope. Larger systems are sequenced into phased releases so you see value early and can adjust scope between phases.

Can you integrate the application with our existing systems?

Yes. Most of our work involves integrating with existing CRMs, ERPs, accounting systems, payment processors, and internal databases. We map the integration surface during Discovery so there are no surprises during Build.

What happens after launch?

You can keep us on a fixed maintenance cadence for fixes, monitoring, security patches, and feature growth, or hand the codebase to your internal team — both paths are common.
